  • The opportunity

    We’re looking for a talented, independent, dynamic physical therapist, with a passion for pelvic physical therapy and sports medicine, to join our fast-growing PT company. Our south Boulder clinic is well established and we are seeking to expand our focus on pelvic therapy within this clinic by bringing an experienced therapist into our team. This role will primarily consist of performing PT services including both manual therapy treatments and exercise programing. As a small fast-growing company, this role is a great opportunity for individuals seeking the benefits of having their own practice with full autonomy over their caseload, work hours, and treatment style, without the admin and operational demands of running a business. Initially this role will be a 1099 (part time) role as your patient caseload expands; scaling to a full-time position in the near future. Dry Needling and pelvic internal exam certification is essential for this role.

    Job description

    Part time (initially) Pelvic Physical Therapist at Atomic Physical Therapy. Up to 35 treatment hours per week at our South Boulder clinic, with additional ad-hoc hours for outreach initiatives every month. This role is intended to develop into a full time position (the speed of which will depend on the rate of growth of patient caseload).

    Roles and responsibilities

    • Provide exceptional pelvic physical therapy services to patients.

    • Evaluate and assess patients’ physical abilities and limitations.

    • Carry out manual physical therapy techniques and pelvic internal examinations as needed to improve patients’ physical function.

    • Create pelvic therapy tailored programming and service offerings (i.e. postpartum, menopausal etc.).

    • Design and implement individualized treatment plans.

    • Document patient progress (using JaneApp) and outcome accurately and efficiently.

    • Articulate our packages/programs to customers.

    • Schedule appointments and manage caseload.

    • Deliver Atomic PT community outreach initiatives including: workshops, social media content, and public speaking opportunities.

    • Attend weekly business and physical therapy meetings with ownership for mentorship and growth.

    • Become an advocate for Atomic PT and women’s health.

    The ideal candidate

    • Licensed Physical Therapist (DPT preferred but not required).

    • Pelvic internal exam certification (required).

    • Dry needling certification (required).

    • At least two years of pelvic physical therapy work experience (required).

    • Comfortable with a cash-pay model.

    • Strong desire to improve and advocate for women’s health and create better systems to ensure better care.

    • Strong patient-centered approach and a commitment to patient care and satisfaction.

    Job description

    PRN Physical Therapist at Atomic Physical Therapy. On standby to provide cover for our permanent staff members as needed. Likely to consist of several one/two week-long blocks throughout the year and short-term cover for staff illness. Hours will be offered to you to take as and when you desire.

    Roles and responsibilities

    • Provide flexible PT cover for absent permanent staff members

    • Available to pick up additional shifts at short notice (if desired)

    • Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients

    • Carry out manual physical therapy techniques (incl. dry needling, cupping, taping, etc.) to improve patients’ physical function

    • Progress individualized treatment plans

    • Document patient progress and outcome accurately and efficiently

    • Schedule appointments

  • The opportunity

    We’re looking for a talented, independent, dynamic physical therapist, with a passion for running and sports medicine, to join our fast-growing PT company. You will lead clinical running services, blending manual therapy and strength programming with evidence-based run coaching. The role suits a self-starter who wants the upside and autonomy of their own practice without the operational headaches. You will shape offerings like running gait analysis, return-to-run programs, and performance coaching while plugging into a large community of runners, track workouts, and local events powered by Atomic Track Club.

    Dry Needling and experience treating athletes (runners) is essential for this role.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Deliver outstanding sports and orthopedic PT with a focus on runners across the spectrum: return-to-run programs, recreational runners, and elite athletes, from 5K to ultra running.

    • Manage common running conditions: bone stress injury risk and recovery, Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, ITB syndrome, patellofemoral pain, hamstring and adductor issues.

    • Build and deliver programmed services: return-to-run after injury or pregnancy, masters runner strength blocks, marathon and ultra prep add-ons.

    • Perform comprehensive running gait and movement assessments.

    • Design individualized run + strength plans: periodization, plyometrics, calf/foot strength, tendon loading, speed development, and race build strategies.

    • Document efficiently in JaneApp and track outcomes.

    • Educate and convert: explain packages and programs in clear, friendly language that fits a cash-pay model.

    • Lead community touchpoints: occasional Tuesday track sessions, workshops, shoe-store nights, group runs, race-week tune-ups, and social media education in collaboration with our team.

    • Collaborate with our other team members and community partners to give runners integrated care.

    Must-haves

    • Licensed Physical Therapist in Colorado (or eligible).

    • 3+ years orthopedic experience, including 2+ years sports PT experience with runners or endurance athletes.

    • Dry Needling certification (or willingness to obtain).

    • Comfortable in a cash-pay setting with one-to-one care and light sales communication.

    • Strong communication skills and rapport building. You enjoy teaching and coaching.

    Nice to have

    • RRCA or USATF Level 1 run coach certification (or willingness to obtain).

    • Experience with gait video analysis and running-specific strength and plyometric progressions.

    • Familiarity with women’s health across the lifespan as it relates to running, including postpartum and perimenopause considerations.

    • Interest in community building: talks, workshops, group runs, race outreach.
