Next you’ll be invited to a 1-2 hour in person meeting with our founder Dr. Emma to evaluate your PT competency. You should expect to conduct an in-person PT assessment so we can see you in action.

The opportunity
We’re looking for a professional, reliable, and independent physical therapist, with a passion for sports medicine, to become part of the Atomic PT network and support our fast-growing company in a PRN role. This position has the potential to become a full-time position later in the year.
About Atomic PT
We are a sports medicine physical therapy company located primarily in downtown Boulder, Colorado. We work with active adults and outdoor enthusiasts across a number of sport/activity specialities. Atomic PT was launched in September 2022 and has quickly established itself as a dynamic and highly respected practice in the Boulder and Broomfield area.
Job description
PRN Physical Therapist at Atomic Physical Therapy. On standby to provide cover for our permanent staff members as needed. Likely to consist of several one/two week-long blocks throughout the year and short-term cover for staff illness. Hours will be offered to you to take as and when you desire.
Roles and responsibilities
Provide flexible PT cover for absent permanent staff members
Available to pick up additional shifts at short notice (if desired)
Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients
Carry out manual physical therapy techniques (incl. dry needling, cupping, taping, etc.) to improve patients’ physical function
Progress individualized treatment plans
Document patient progress and outcome accurately and efficiently
Schedule appointments
The ideal candidate
Licensed Physical Therapist (DPT preferred)
Dry needling qualified
Strong patient-centered approach and a commitment to patient care and satisfaction
Desire to work one-to-one with patients and build strong rapport
Charismatic with strong communication and interpersonal skills (able to adapt style to fit patients)
Works independently, as part of a wider team
Able to occasionally work for a week at a time
Keen interest in sports and outdoor pursuits, reflecting our customer demographic
Able to travel to the Boulder area
Benefits
$50-75 per hour depending on experience
