Our 55 minute appointments are our core sessions with our Doctors of Physical Therapy. Our appointments consist of a mix of manual treatment and prescriptive exercise programs, depending on the need of each patient. We will always discuss what works best for you each session and adjust accordingly throughout your visits.
-
We want to keep you doing what you love, plain and simple. When you choose Atomic PT for your PT needs, we ensure you are happy from the get go by offering free 15-min discovery visits so you can meet us and make sure we are the right fit for you. We guarantee 1:1 time with your therapist at each appointment along with rehab specific plans to match your activity. Our goal is to keep you doing what you love while improving your pain.
-
All of our appointments start with an evaluation to begin care with our team. These are 55-min sessions to get to the root of the problem and form a plan. In the evaluation your therapist will discuss their findings and make a recommendation for you going forward.
Following that, we two main appointments:
55-min appointments
25-min appointments
Regardless of which appointment you choose, they are always 1:1 with a doctor of physical therapy.
Our 55-min appointments are the most standard appointment and recommended to most of our patients. They combine both manual therapy (such as myofascial release, dry needling, cupping, soft tissue mobilization, shockwave therapy, and more) and individualized exercise prescription related to each patient.
Our 25-min appointments are typically used as additional services for those who are requiring more manual work throughout their rehab process but don't need the full 55-mins.
The main thing to note is that our appointments are your time and never combined with anyone else.

Definitely! In fact, we encourage it. Physical therapy is hugely beneficial for prevention and prepping your body for the demands of the future. Have a big race coming up? Starting a new activity? Come see us before training begins so we can identify where you should focus your training to decrease the potential for injury.
-
Absolutely! We cater to everyone in all walks of life. If injury or pain is keeping you from starting your active journey, we are the perfect support system to help you get started safely.
-
We recommend wearing active clothing that provides easy access to your area of concern. Typically, looser clothing is better.
With your consent, our therapists may have you remove articles of clothing to better view the area we are working on so if you’d prefer to bring a spare change of clothes instead that’s great. Each appointment will likely include some physical activity as well, so we do recommend bringing gym shoes.
-
Once you’ve booked your appointment you will get a link with instructions on how to connect with our booking system, JaneApp. We recommend that you test your microphone and camera on your device before our appointment to make sure it all runs smoothly. Once that’s all set up, find a good space with plenty of room for you to move. Our appointments will include a combination of education and physical activity.
-
Absolutely! At Atomic PT we would love to be a part of your journey. We highly recommend physical therapy during and after pregnancy. We want to empower you to feel your best throughout the entire process. Did you know… many symptoms that are present postpartum are actually not normal such as incontinence and pelvic pain? Contact us if you’d like to know more about how we can help you during your pregnancy.

We are considered an out of network provider; meaning we do not work directly with any insurance company. Instead, we offer super bills (upon request) that our patients can send to their insurance provider for reimbursement. We also accept HSA and FSA for all payments.
We’ve chosen to be out of network to provide you with the best care possible and save you money in the long run. Payments are received at the start of each treatment. No co-pays, no insurance claims, no hassle. As an out of network clinic we have no restrictions regarding the number of visits, type of visit, and treatment used at each visit. Each session is unique to you and catered to exactly what you need, not what the insurance companies want to see. That’s a much better way to provide a medical service, don’t you think?
-
Our goal is to get you back doing what you love in the shortest amount of time possible. Typically, for non-surgical cases, we anticipate recovery within 6 to 12 visits. We will work together to create the best plan for you and the appropriate frequency of visits to achieve your goals.
We also offer memberships in the form of our performance programs which function to help you with accountability and catching aches and pains before they become an injury.
