Advanced light therapy that calms pain, reduces inflammation, and accelerates healing, especially when recovery feels stuck.
Laser Therapy
What is it?
Laser therapy uses concentrated light energy to stimulate healing deep in your tissue.
Ours is a high-powered Class IV laser, which reaches deeper and works faster than the low-level (Class III) lasers many clinics use. The light energizes your cells through a process called photobiomodulation, boosting cellular energy, increasing blood flow, and accelerating tissue repair at the source. It's non-invasive, drug-free, and one of the tools that helps us get people unstuck when healing has stalled.
What laser therapy helps
-

Slow-healing tendon and soft tissue injuries
Sprains, strains, and muscle tears, plus tendon injuries that are taking longer than they should to recover.
-

Chronic pain and inflammation
Lingering pain from conditions like arthritis, joint inflammation, and persistent back pain, eased by reducing inflammation and improving circulation.
-

Joint stiffness and limited mobility
By calming inflammation and supporting tissue repair, laser helps restore range of motion and makes movement more comfortable.
-

Post-surgical recovery
Supports healing and helps manage pain and swelling as you rehab after surgery.
-

Bone stress and irritation
Class IV laser may also support bone healing, which makes it particularly useful for active people dealing with bone stress injuries.
What laser can do for you
-
Rapid pain relief
By reducing inflammation and prompting your body to release its own natural pain relievers, laser often eases pain quickly, sometimes within the first session.
-
Faster, deeper healing
The Class IV laser reaches tissue that lighter lasers can't, kickstarting cellular repair and shortening recovery time for both fresh and long-standing injuries.
-
Less reliance on medication
A drug-free, non-invasive option that can reduce the need for pain medication, with none of the associated side effects.
-
Better mobility
As inflammation and stiffness settle, you move more freely, making everyday life and training easier.
-
Get back to what you love
Less pain and better movement means getting back to running, climbing, and the activities that matter to you.
What to expect
Treatment is warm but comfortable, and completely non-invasive. Your therapist moves the laser over the target area for a focused session, and there's no downtime afterward, so you can get straight back to your day. Some people feel relief after their first session, while others need a short series. For most injuries we typically recommend a course of 2 to 3 sessions per week over 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how acute or chronic the injury is and your goals. Laser works best paired with the movement and strength work that addresses the root cause, not as a standalone fix.
Why Atomic?
-
Flexible
Book laser as a focused 25-minute standalone session, or build it into a full 55-minute appointment alongside the rest of your care.
-
Affordable
Our rates are typically far lower than physicians and medical providers offering the same treatment. Cutting-edge care without the specialist price.
-
Pairs with Shockwave
Laser and shockwave can be done separately or together, and if you pay for one, the other is included at no extra cost. Either can be added to a session or eval for a $50 surcharge.
-
An integrated tool
Your laser therapy is delivered by a clinician who knows your diagnosis, your movement, and your goals, and combines it with the hands-on care and exercise that make results last.
