Real-time imaging that lets us see inside the injury, so you get clear answers and a plan in a single visit, no referrals, no waiting, no guesswork.
Diagnostic Ultrasound
What is it?
Pain, stiffness, and movement limits can feel like guesswork. Is it the tendon? The joint? A strain, or something more? Diagnostic ultrasound takes the guessing out of it.
Using our Clarius portable device, one of the most advanced musculoskeletal imaging tools in the area, your therapist sees your tendons, ligaments, joints, and soft tissue live, right there in the clinic. Unlike an MRI or X-ray, ultrasound shows tissue in motion, so we can watch how the area actually behaves as you move and load it. It's non-invasive, radiation-free, and done in real time during your exam.

Why imaging changes your care
-
Answers without the guesswork
We visualize the tissue live, so we identify the true source of your pain instead of relying on assumptions.
-
Diagnosis & plan in one visit
No waiting weeks for a referral or a separate imaging appointment. You get clarity, education, and a customized rehab plan immediately.
-
A clearer picture of tendon and ligament injuries
Ultrasound helps tell the difference between a strain, a tendinopathy, a tear, or healing tissue, so your rehab is more targeted.
-
Smarter return-to-sport decisions
By tracking how your tissue heals and tolerates load over time, we guide your return to training with confidence.
-
You see it too
Seeing your own injury on screen makes it real and understandable. You leave knowing what's wrong, where you are in healing, and what comes next.
Your session starts with a focused clinical assessment, so the imaging is guided by your symptoms and goals, not done blind. Using a handheld probe and a little gel, your therapist views the tissue in real time, and may ask you to move or load the area so we can see exactly how it behaves. Then you get answers: your therapist talks you through what's on the screen, what it means, and what to do about it. It's completely non-invasive and radiation-free, with no downtime, so you're back to your day right away.
